Are your kitchens fully equipped or do we need to bring stuff along?All our self-catering cottages are fitted with very well-equipped kitchens: oven/grill, full-size hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, food processor/blender, kettle, toaster, coffee maker/cafetiere, steam iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner and plenty of crockery, cutlery, saucepans and cooking utensils. Tea towel, hand towel, oven gloves and dishcloth/brush are also provided. And the bedrooms?
Likewise. Our beds are very comfortable and dressed with quality bed linen. There’s plenty of space for your clothes with chests of drawers and plenty of hangers in free-standing or built-in wardrobes. If you want to read at night there’s a bedside cabinet & lamp for each person and an alarm clock/radio if you need to rise early. Do I need to bring towels?
All linen & towels are provided except beach towels. Are your cottages suitable for babies and young children?
Absolutely. There is one cot per cottage and highchairs and stair gates are available on request. Please note, you will need to bring your own cot linen. Can we bring our dog?
Yes. We welcome well-behaved dogs at a nominal charge, though we have to keep it to a max of 2 per cottage. ‘Doggy bags & bins’ are provided. Cats are not permitted. Can you give us advice on the best places to go and things to do in Cornwall & Devon?
Of course, we are always happy to chat about where to go and what to do. For each cottage we have prepared guest information folders with lots of useful local information & advice. There’s also a separate tourist information booth containing many what’s on guides, leaflets and attraction details.
